Cover of first vellum bound account book has "Sandwich Church=Book of Records 1749". The inside cover has "Sandwich Church Book of Records Bought July 7th 1749 for the use of the first Chh of Christ in Sandwich". Records from earlier records were obviously copied since this book has a list of church members 1695-1811 & 1824, a list of baptized children 1694-1817, proceedings 1691/2-1813, a list of deaths 1787-1817, dismissions from the Chh 1749-1818, etc. Second vellum bound account book has "Book of records [faded] in the town of Sandwich 1786 / Parish Records". This volume contains summaries of meetings of the first precinct in the town of Sandwich and parish meetings 1786-1853.
